Are You Prepared for a Global Blackout?

Catholic prophets, and even secular global leaders, have warned us to prepare for a worldwide blackout. Since we as Catholics are instructed not to despise prophecy (1 Thessalonians 5:20), we ought to take these warnings seriously and prepare accordingly. In this post, we'll discuss what this blackout could be, and steps you can take to prepare.

In a recent video, Father James Blount explains a revelation he had from Our Lady regarding three visions he received over a year ago. In each of the three visions, he saw Our Lady appear in the sky holding a ream of black cloth which unraveled and flew through the air, circling the globe at least 20 times, making the entire earth appear dark. Then he saw a word in white letters, all capitals, which read: "BLACKOUT."

The first time he saw the vision, he was at the entrance to a church. The second time he saw the vision, he was leaving the same church. However, the third time he had the vision he was in front of the home of a Catholic family.

So what does all of this mean?

Well, in the new video Fr Blount says that, several months later, Our Lady explained the meaning of these three visions. The first vision, she said, represented the closing of the churches in 2020, when the Holy Mass was barred to the public all over the world. The light of Jesus is, in fact, even more brilliant than the sun, so the fact that Catholics all over the world were prevented from assisting at Mass and receiving Jesus in the Holy Eucharist was indeed a global, spiritual "blackout"!

The second vision, Our Lady told Fr Blount, represents another Eucharistic blackout which will occur in the future. So first and foremost, we need to prepare ourselves for this spiritually by assisting at Mass and receiving Jesus reverently and in the state of grace as often as possible. We should also pray for our priests and bishops to have the strength to do everything possible to continue to administer the Sacraments no matter what difficulties arise.

The third vision in front of the Catholic home, Our Lady says, represents yet another Eucharistic blackout. However, this time, families will not even be able to assist at the Mass from home. So there will be no ability to see the Mass on TV or stream it online. Our Lady does not explain any further than this, but Father Blount does speculate that perhaps this means that, in addition to the spiritual blackout, there will also be an electronic blackout.

The World Economic Forum Warns the "Cyber Pandemic" is Coming

The idea of a global electronic blackout is not new. In fact, the possibility has been discussed and publicly simulated by global secular leaders. They are calling it a "cyber pandemic" or a "cyber attack."

Klaus Schwab, the founder and chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), stated at Cyber Polygon 2021 (an exercise which simulated a global cyber attack) that he is almost 100% certain that such an event will occur at some point in the near future:

"We all know, but still pay insufficient attention, to the frightening scenario of a comprehensive cyber attack could bring a complete halt to the power supply, transportation, hospital services, our society as a whole. The COVID-19 crisis would be seen in this respect as a small disturbance in comparison to a major cyberattack."

Jeremy Jurgens, the WEF's managing director, similarly stated:

"I believe that there will be another crisis. It will be more significant. It will be faster than what we’ve seen with COVID. The impact will be greater, and as a result the economic and social implications will be even more significant."

So the implications of a global blackout would be very severe, as it would bring everything to a halt. Many other Catholic prophesies have told of a coming famine, and a blackout like this could certainly cause or contribute to that. We have also been warned of a Third World War, which some say has already begun with the attack of Russia on Ukraine.

However, we do not need to be afraid, because Heaven is warning us about this ahead of time so that we can prepare.

Is this Blackout the Three Days of Darkness?

Father Blount also mentions the prophesy of the Three Days of Darkness, since that is what he thought about when he saw the vision three times. He said that perhaps his vision is somehow related. If we go back and read the various prophecies of three days of darkness in which the entire earth will become dark, it does sound very similar in some ways to the vision Father Blount had.

However, a Eucharistic blackout is not the same thing as the three days of darkness. This sort of "blackout" happened once already, and it was not an event which lasted only three days.

Second, the three days of darkness prophesy refers to a LITERAL blackness where the physical sun will not shine in the sky. Therefore, I don't believe that even an electronic blackout could be the three days of darkness.

Third, while a cyber attack would indeed be a chastisement in God's permissive Will, this event would be caused by human beings and not directly by God Himself. Whereas, in the three days of darkness prophesies, it is more like the Great Deluge: the enemies of God will perish and the whole earth will be purged except for the faithful who remain and a few who will convert.

So while perhaps Father Blount's vision does refer to the three days of darkness, it would seem that–according to Our Lady's subsequent explanation–the immediate meaning of the vision is NOT the three days of darkness. In reading the various three days of darkness prophesies, it is my personal belief that this event is more likely to occur at the end of the reign of the Antichrist. So I think we probably have other tribulations (war, famine, persecution) to go through yet before the three days of darkness occurs.

That being said, we are being warned now about a Eucharistic blackout, and potentially an electronic blackout as well. So how should we prepare for this?

How to Prepare for a Global Blackout

In a recent message to Anna Marie of the Apostolate of the Green Scapular, Our Lord explains what we can do in preparation for the war and famine (possible fallouts of a global blackout) before they begin.

In the message from June 14, 2022, Jesus says (emphasis mine):

Step 1: Place four blessed Green Scapulars in the four corners of your home

"My beloved one, I have come to speak on what my Apostles can do in preparation of the war and famine before it begins. First, place four blessed Green Scapulars in the four corners of your home. If you have two floors, place them on the second level in the four corners of your home."

Step 2: Bury blessed medals in canisters in the four corners of your land, and install crucifixes over your exterior doors (front/back/garage)

"Next, pray your Rosary daily and your Chaplet of Mercy too. In doing so, you will build a foundation of prayer that will turn into a regular routine. Attend daily Holy Mass if possible, in this way you will be strengthened for the days of sorrows which are soon to be here. Pray and pray more."

Step 4: Prepare physically, according to your individual means

"Ask me what items you need to purchase or prepare before the great days of Chastisement. I will certainly guide you to obtain, make or purchase. I love you all, my beloved children, and I WILL for each of you to live through the 'Great Days of Sorrows.' Do not be worried or afraid. Am I not your Divine Savior? I will save you, my dearest little ones. Ask and you shall receive, Seek and you shall find, Knock and it will be opened unto you."

So what I'm taking from this is that Our Lord is calling each of us to a different level or type of preparation. For example, some of us may be called to prepare self-sufficient refuges to house and feed families, whereas others may be called to simply store enough non-perishable food to last their own families for a short time. Regardless of our means, our job is to simply ask God what we are supposed to buy or do to prepare, and He will guide us in all our decisions. We can trust Jesus that He will never require something of us without also giving us the grace to do it.

Daily Prayer is Vital

So constant prayer is very important. In the same message, Our Lord speaks to Anna Marie of a great darkness covering the earth and the Vatican. He urges us to pray for conversions, for our country, state, province, city and household:

"I know and can see the great darkness that covers all countries now. My enemy and yours is and has been preparing an army of wicked spirits (and persons). Do not be afraid, I have already won the battle with him and he is now seducing anyone who does not love me and does not keep the holy Commandments of our Holy Eternal Father; my Father and yours.

"I see also my Church, I see the darkness that now covers the Vatican and the one leading it has refused to serve my Father. He will be judged and answer to all his crimes. I have told to you before, 'Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord, I shall repay.' Your mission is to pray for those who require conversion now; and mine is to worry about how to work around or lead my beloved children away from their traps. The devil has and will continue to set up to destroy the faith of my Church, which is you my beloved ones.

"Do not allow evil to take your peace away but rejoice in my love and protection for you and your families. Soon after the war, I will return, but that date is only known by my Father in Heaven. So for now, keep a watchful eye on matters in your country and pray daily for your country.

"Pray also for your state, province, city and household. I love you my dear ones. I love you and hear all your prayers, I see your tears and I mend your broken hearts with my holy divine grace. Your Divine Savior, Jesus of Nazareth."

What Else You Can do to Prepare

What else can we do to prepare? Well, in a recent message to Luz de Maria de Bonilla on June 29, 2022, Our Lord speaks of a darkness:

"My children must remain prepared to face the famine that is already looming over humanity. Shortages will be severe; in some countries the climate will be extremely hot and in others extremely cold. Nature is rebelling against the sin of the human race. The climate will vary constantly and the elements will rise up against humanity.

"Prepare yourselves! The soul must be a lamp giving light (Mt. 5:14-15) in the face of the darkness that the earth will suffer for a few hours."

So first of all, Jesus is telling us to be Children of the Light. We must keep oil in our lamps, which means frequenting the Sacraments!

Secondly, we are being warned to prepare physically as well. In another recent message to Luz de Maria on June 23, 2022, St. Michael the Archangel says:

"People of Our Lord and King Jesus Christ, the country represented by the bear will react unexpectedly, causing the world to remain anxious, and making some countries react hastily.

"When you hear an unknown rumbling, do not leave your homes or places where you are; do not leave until you receive orders to move.  If a strong and unknown glow appears, do not look at it; on the contrary, keep your head to the ground and do not look until the glow disappears, and do not move from the place where you are.

"Store food inside your homes, without forgetting water, blessed grapes, the sacramentals and what is necessary for the small altar that at a certain moment you were asked to prepare in your homes."
